Our masters course is probably one of our favorites. The importance of functional training becomes essential as we age in order to enjoy our everyday life. As we get older, we begin to lose muscle mass. This in turn means we lose the ability to perform everyday functions such as getting out of a chair, opening a window or taking a box down from a shelf.
The good news is, this process can be slowed (or even prevented) significantly with strength and conditioning exercise.
CF920 Masters programming is specifically designed for those age 40 and up, focusing on scaling and precise form of foundational CrossFit programming. Proper technique and movement is the top priority, including mobility and stretching. The programming is transferable to our daily CrossFit sessions, and ultimately aiming to improve your quality of life outside of the gym.
